Right after Abigail was born we enjoyed visits from my sister and mom who came to help out and get in some snuggles with the new baby. They also brought us fun things for our new apartment like curtains and rugs, a baby swing, shelves for Abigail's things, and lost of other things that are hard for us to find here. Aunt Jenny came our first week home and "Nana" came the second. Their trips overlapped by a day and a half so we had a little bit of time all together. We mostly hung out at home but did get a chance to enjoy a couple meals with Heartline friends, go to church, take each of them to the beach, and go up the mountain a little to an overlook of the city. It was really nice to have the extra help and company those first few weeks. We're thankful they took the time and effort to make the trip here. Neat to see my mom love and take care of both me and her new grandbaby and learn from that how I want to love and take care of my daughter too.
